What is Neobee speeedy?
Neobee speedy is a patented technology of data compression combined with data cache and optimized network queries which effectively increase the amount of transferred data within the time unit, speeding up the connection up to 7 times.

How does Neobee Speedy work?
Speedy system contains two parts: Application installed individually on the user’s PC and special dedicated server which processes user’s queries.
Each demand for Internet content sent by the user is being transferred by the local Speedy application to the Speedy server which rapidly downloads the requested content and sends the packed and compressed Internet content back to the user’s Speedy application. Internet content is then being unpacked and transferred to the corresponding application on the user’s computer.

Speedy and browser compatibility
Neobee Speedy is automatically configured to be used with Internet Explorer and Opera internet browsers. Users of other web browsers should activate their proxy server services at the address 127.0.0.1 and at port 8080. Also, if you are using Speedy it is necessary to turn off your proxy server in order to continue surfing the internet. In the Internet Explorer browser this procedure is automatic so no adjustments are necessary.

Setting the proxy server in Firefox
From the ‘Tools’ menu chose ‘Options’ (fig. 1). Then, within the ‘General’ section, click on the ‘Connection settings’ … (fig. 2). Fill in the proxy address field (fig. 3).
